Progress report #14

Very tired again. Maybe I should go back to writing in the mornings. Come on, job! Slow down next week so I can have some extra writing time during the day!

“You’re really good,” he said, nodding toward her cello.

Lily smiled widely at Zach again. “Thank you,” she said.

Ambrose burst through their moment. “How is your aunt?” he asked.

“Oh, she’s fine,” Lily said. “She’s expecting you, so I think she’s in the kitchen making a snack.”

“We brought Scrabble,” Ambrose said.

“Great.” There it was—Lily didn’t seem to like Ambrose, and that was finally overshadowing her good mood. Zach wondered why she didn’t like him.

Total word count: 26,495 (50 pages in MS Word! Yowza!)

Comments: I'm just kind of blinking at the screen right now. Yeah. My main concern is writing both days this weekend, since I've taken both Sundays off so far. My family will be in town for Thanksgiving next week, so it's important that I stay on track of things till then.

Time for some rest . . . oh yes . . . must remember to have some caffeine with dinner next time I try to do this.
